They will work in small teams to figure out how to create lighthouses and racer bots. They will learn about science and engineering by using their talents to create fun STEAM-focused projects like slime and spin art. We will explore the screen-free worlds of Pokemon, Minecraft, and Mario Brothers.

If you have already completed the Student-Leadership Camp during a previous summer at Green Vale, 你有资格成为我们夏令营的志愿者!

We have two weeks of camps:
Week 1 (June 12-14): This camp is for outside vendors and I do not need many, so you may not be chosen/K-5.

Students in this program will be exposed to a variety of leadership building strategies through group discussions, problem-solving exercises, and group activities. 该课程将与夏令营志愿者项目同时进行, as the students will attend ninety minutes of leadership building strategies in the classroom and then will be immersed in ninety minutes of volunteering as assistants in the variety of other camps taking place on campus. The intention behind this structure is to allow students to learn leadership skills and then act upon them immediately.

The program will focus on a variety of topics appropriate for middle school students including individuality, 有效的冲突解决技巧和个人责任感.
